The Feast of Trumpets – Celebrating the Birth of Jesus Christ & the second return

The Feast of Trumpets is a holy day with deep meaning for Christians. In Scripture, God commanded His people to gather in a sacred assembly at the sound of the trumpet (Leviticus 23:23–25). Many believers now recognize that this appointed time points directly to the birth of Jesus Christ, the true King who came into the world as God’s greatest gift.

Unlike the December date celebrated by tradition, biblical study shows that the timing of the Feast of Trumpets in the seventh month aligns with the true season of Christ’s birth. Just as the trumpet announces the arrival of a king, so too did the heavens announce the arrival of the Messiah.

This celebration is not only about remembering Christ’s birth, but also about looking forward. The Feast of Trumpets carries prophetic meaning, reminding us of the day when the trumpet will sound again at the return of Jesus, our Savior and Lord.

When we gather for the Feast of Trumpets, we proclaim both the first coming of Christ in Bethlehem and the promise of His return in glory.
